Capvond's balcony tray system

When it comes to views, a flat looking over some of the iconic buildings and architecture of Glasgow, can be quite stunning. In addition to that the access to a balcony to enjoy these views al fresco on a relaxed sunny evening or a crisp winter's morning is a positive asset.

By using Capvond's balcony tray system ROK Building Ltd. in assocaition with ZM Architecture have achieved a stunning development where challenges to building by confidently having balconies and atriums above retail and housing, adds a blend of 21st Century living unsurpassed in Glasgow city centre.

Both the balcony and the atrium systems have been achieved using sectional glass fibre units, pre-insulated to attain specific 'U' values but designed to give the ROK an ease of build and ZM the confidence that any rain water is controlled and drained exactly the way it was designed. Each balcony is around 18 square metres and the atrium around 90 square metres, and each were fitted in place with the minimum of fuss and timescale.
