Turrets
As an internal part of the ventilation system or just to add character as a unique feature, turrets have been the centrepiece of roof design for hundred of years. Initially constructed using a timber carcass and a lead roof meant the task of recreating turrets to the original design was not only problematical but very expensive.
Over the years Capvond has had the opportunity to recreate many of these structures and has produced very effective replicas. Manufactured using resilient glass re-inforced plastic, Capvond turrets are not only decorative but also functional. Given the specification, air direction can be controlled within the main structure and by using heat, fire and chemical resistant resins, a wide variety application can be considered.
With advances of pigmentation, turrets can now be produced in specific colours and textures, and as the finish is colourfast, maintenance is minimal. For further details on materials available or the extent of our design possibilities, please contact us.
